Author Visits

Using a variety of visuals and audience participation, Roberta Karim enjoys entertaining and educating children, tailoring her presentation to the ages and interests of the group. She shares the inspiration behind her books, and the hard work necessary to revise and see the stories through to publication. She gives students a behind-the-scenes look at how a picture book is created, from the first keystroke to the finished product.

Writing workshops are available, and can be tailored to the group at hand. Roberta also enjoys meeting with students to answer their questions and autograph their books.

She has given numerous presentations at conferences, public and private schools, homeschooling groups, young writers' workshops, libraries, children's hospitals, and the Ronald McDonald House.
